1. Prepare the Potatoes
Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
Cut larger potatoes in half. If using very small potatoes, you can leave them whole.
2. Make the Garlic Parmesan Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Mix everything together until well combined.
3. Coat the Potatoes
Add the potatoes to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every piece is coated with the garlic Parmesan mixture.
For especially crispy potatoes, make sure the cut sides are well coated.
4. Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
Preheating helps the potatoes develop a beautifully browned exterior.
5. Arrange the Potatoes
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
If possible, arrange the cut sides facing downward. Avoid overcrowding the basket so the hot air can circulate properly.
6. Air Fry
Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
The potatoes should become deeply golden and crispy on the outside while remaining soft and fluffy inside.
If your potatoes are larger, they may need an additional 5–8 minutes.
7. Add Fresh Parsley
Once the potatoes are cooked, transfer them to a serving bowl.
Sprinkle generously with freshly chopped parsley while they’re still hot.
8. Serve
Serve these crispy garlic Parmesan potatoes immediately as a side dish with chicken, steak, burgers, grilled vegetables, or your favorite main course.
For an extra-indulgent finish, sprinkle a little more Parmesan over the hot potatoes just before serving.
Tip: Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cooking the potatoes in batches if necessary will give you that irresistible crispy, golden exterior shown in the picture.
