Crispy Cabbage Fritters

1. Prepare the cabbage

Finely shred the cabbage using a knife or grater.
Place it in a large bowl and lightly squeeze it with your hands to soften it slightly.

2. Mix the ingredients

Add to the bowl:

  • eggs
  • chopped onion
  • minced garlic
  • flour
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • parsley

Mix everything together until the cabbage is well coated and a thick batter forms.

3. Heat the pan

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

4. Form the fritters

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and place it in the hot pan.
Flatten slightly with a spoon to form small patties.

5. Fry until crispy

Cook each fritter for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

6. Drain the fritters

Remove the fritters and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

7. Serve

Serve warm with:

  • sour cream
  • garlic yogurt sauce
  • spicy mayo
  • or a fresh cucumber salad

✨ Tips for Perfect Cabbage Fritters

  • Slice the cabbage very thinly for a better texture.
  • If the mixture is too wet, add 1–2 extra tablespoons of flour.
  • Add grated carrot or cheese for extra flavor.
