Creamy Banana Ice Pops

  • by

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into chunks. Measure all the remaining ingredients so everything is ready to blend.

Step 2: Blend the Mixture

Place the bananas, whole milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt (if using) into a blender.

Blend for 1–2 minutes, or until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and free of banana lumps.

Step 3: Fill the Popsicle Molds

Carefully pour the banana mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about ¼ inch (6 mm) of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.

Step 4: Insert the Sticks

Insert popsicle sticks into each mold. If your molds don’t have built-in stick holders, freeze the popsicles for about 1 hour first, then insert the sticks so they stay upright.

Step 5: Freeze

Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for 6–8 hours, or preferably overnight, until the popsicles are completely firm.

Step 6: Unmold and Serve

To release the popsicles easily, run the outside of the molds under warm water for 10–15 seconds. Gently pull each ice pop out and serve immediately.

Tips for the Best Banana Ice Pops

  • Use very ripe bananas with brown spots for the sweetest flavor.
  • For an extra creamy texture, chill the blended mixture for 30 minutes before pouring it into the molds.
  • Add mini chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or chopped nuts for extra texture.
  • Sprinkle in a little cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm, comforting flavor.
  • Store the popsicles in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container for up to 2 months.

Enjoy these creamy homemade banana ice pops as a refreshing dessert or a delicious afternoon snack! 🍌🍦
