Step 1: Wash Everything
Rinse all fruits and vegetables thoroughly under cold running water. Scrub the beets well to remove any dirt.
Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients
- Trim the celery ends.
- Chop the kale and romaine into manageable pieces.
- Core the apples.
- Peel the lemon if using.
- Cut the beets into chunks that fit your juicer or blender.
Step 3: Make the Green Juice
If using a juicer:
- Feed the celery through first.
- Add the kale and romaine.
- Finish with the apples, cucumber, ginger, and lemon.
If using a blender:
- Add all ingredients with 1 cup cold water.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
Step 4: Make the Beet Juice
Juice or blend the beets, apples, celery, ginger, and lemon using the same method.
Step 5: Bottle
Pour the juices into clean glass jars or airtight bottles. Seal tightly.
Step 6: Chill
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor.
Storage
- Keep refrigerated.
- Best enjoyed within 48–72 hours.
- Shake well before drinking, as natural separation is normal.
