Important Notes
- Eggshell powder is primarily a source of calcium.
- It does not contain significant collagen.
- Too much calcium can cause health problems, including kidney stones.
- If you have kidney disease, high calcium levels, or take medications, consult your healthcare provider before using it regularly.
For knee health, a balanced diet with adequate protein, vitamin C, exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight has much stronger evidence than eggshell remedies.
