Chinese pepper steak with onions

1. Marinate the beef

In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.

2. Make the sauce

In a small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well and set aside.

3. Cook the beef

Heat oil in a pan or wok over high heat. Stir-fry the beef quickly for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

4. Cook vegetables

In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for a few seconds, then add peppers and onions. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes (keep them slightly crisp).

5. Combine everything

Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir well.

6. Thicken & finish

Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.
