Celery and lime are a refreshing combination that makes a crisp, naturally hydrating drink. Celery provides vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while lime adds vitamin C and a bright citrus flavor. Although social media often claims this drink can “cleanse the blood,” “detox the liver,” or “flush the kidneys,” there is no scientific evidence that any single drink can detox your body or cure disease.
Your liver and kidneys already do an excellent job of filtering waste naturally. This drink is best enjoyed as a healthy, low-calorie beverage that supports hydration.
