Beet, Carrot and Ginger Juice: A Refreshing Drink You’ll Love

  • by

Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables

Wash the beet and carrots thoroughly. Peel them if desired and cut them into small pieces that are suitable for your juicer or blender.

Peel the ginger and cut off a small piece. Ginger has a strong flavor, so you don’t need much.

Step 2: Blend or Juice

If you’re using a juicer, process the beet, carrots, ginger, and apple.

If you’re using a blender, add the ingredients with about ½ cup of cold water and blend until smooth. Strain the mixture if you prefer a thinner drink.

Step 3: Add Lemon

Add a small squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness and flavor.

Serve immediately over ice if you like it cold.

Can This Drink Lower Cholesterol or Cure Arthritis?

It’s important not to confuse a nutritious drink with a medical treatment.

A diet rich in vegetables can be part of an overall heart-healthy lifestyle, but this juice cannot guarantee that cholesterol will disappear. Likewise, it cannot cure arthritis or reliably eliminate unexplained fatigue.

If you have high cholesterol, persistent joint pain, or ongoing fatigue, it’s better to discuss those symptoms with a healthcare professional rather than relying on a three-day juice regimen.

Also remember that beet juice can temporarily turn urine or stool reddish, which can be harmless but may look alarming.

Enjoy this drink for what it is: a colorful, flavorful way to add more vegetables to your diet—not a miracle cure.
