Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Fillet 

1. Prepare the Chicken

Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket (don’t cut all the way through).

Season inside and outside with:

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Oregano

2. Prep the Asparagus

Trim the woody ends of the asparagus.
For softer texture, you can lightly blanch them in hot water for 2–3 minutes, then drain.

3. Make the Filling

In a bowl, mix:

  • Mozzarella
  • Parmesan
  • Minced garlic

4. Stuff the Chicken

Open each chicken fillet and:

  • Add 2–3 asparagus spears
  • Spoon some cheese mixture inside

Close the chicken and secure with toothpicks if needed.

5. Sear for Flavor

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear chicken:

  • 3–4 minutes per side
  • Until golden brown

This locks in juices and adds color.

6. Finish in the Oven

Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for:

  • 15–20 minutes, or until fully cooked

7. Rest & Serve

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Remove toothpicks and serve hot.
