7UP Lemon Cake

1. Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Grease and flour a bundt pan or tube pan to prevent sticking.

2. Cream butter and sugar

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together using a mixer until the mixture becomes light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).

3. Add the eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

In another bowl, mix together:

  • salt

Gradually add the flour mixture to the batter, alternating with the 7UP soda.

Mix gently until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then remove it and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.

9. Prepare the glaze

In a small bowl, mix:

  • powdered sugar
  • lemon juice
  • lemon zest

Stir until smooth.

10. Finish the cake

Drizzle the lemon glaze over the cooled cake and let it set before serving.
