Ingredients
Dough
• 2 cups bread flour (250g)
• 1 tsp instant yeast (3g)
• 2 tbsp sugar (25g)
• ½ tsp salt (3g)
• 2 tbsp butter, softened (30g)
• ¾ cup warm milk (180ml)
• 1 egg
Beef Filling
• 300g minced beef
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp mixed herbs
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Filling
• 200g mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
Garlic Butter Topping
• 2 tbsp melted butter (30g)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Add the warm milk, egg, and butter. Knead until you have a smooth, soft dough.
Cover and let the dough rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Heat the oil in a pan and cook the onion until soft. Add the garlic and minced beef, then season with paprika, black pepper, mixed herbs, and salt. Cook until the beef is browned and dry. Allow it to cool.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and flatten each into a circle.
Place a spoonful of the beef filling in the center, add a cube of mozzarella cheese, and seal the dough tightly to form a ball.
Arrange the stuffed rolls on a lined baking tray. Cover and let them rise again for 30–40 minutes.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brush with more garlic butter immediately after baking for a glossy finish.
Serve warm while the cheese is deliciously melted.
