Garlic, Chayote Lime Drink: A Natural Wellness Recipe

While the ingredients shown in the image—chayote (vegetable pear), garlic, and lime—are nutritious foods, there is no scientific evidence that this drink can cure all of these conditions or replace prescribed medications. However, these ingredients can be part of a healthy diet that supports overall wellness.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium chayote (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the Chayote

Wash the chayote thoroughly.

Peel it and cut it into small cubes.

Remove the seed if desired.

Step 2: Prepare the Garlic

Peel 2 fresh garlic cloves.

Crush them lightly to release their natural compounds.

Step 3: Juice the Limes

Cut the limes in half and squeeze out the juice.

Remove any seeds.

Step 4: Blend the Ingredients

Add to a blender:

  • Chopped chayote
  • Garlic cloves
  • Lime juice
  • 2 cups water

Blend until smooth.

Step 5: Strain (Optional)

For a smoother drink, strain through a fine sieve.

For more fiber, leave it unstrained.

Step 6: Serve

Pour into a glass and drink immediately for the freshest flavor.
